~ PERSONALITY ~
Due to his early drug consume Kilian became a quite bemused and sentimental person who constantly tries to escape his reality. He never had a person to get really close with, so he avoids most of interpersonal contacts because he has no clue how to handle it, in addition it’s because he has a very low trust in other people after some horrible experiences which left him kind of unwilling or even unable to feel any kind of affection– in and outside of the Institution where he was hidden as a living secret for a whole eternity what made him very isolated and secluded.
He was abused, mistreated and humilated in his past.
His drug addiction limited his range of personality to satisfy his bodys needs but deep inside Kilian is very profound and ruminative. His main problem is that he lost his self believe a long time ago what makes him very weak in every situation he’s confronted with. He just feels like a helpless kid, longing for something he can finally get attached to.
He is kind of a-romantic, but bisexual oriented.
~ HISTORY ~
Kilian Hyes is a young drug addict the Institution took from the street. He was born in a poorhouse and grew up as a ward after his mother deceased a few years after. He always had to struggle to get through life but the marks it left on him are still open wounds.
When he turned 15 he got kicked out and became a homeless who tried to survive through small cons and drifted into the wrong society where he was abused, mistreated and humilated. The only things that made him feel alive anymore were the drugs he soon began to use to escape his reality.
The Institution exploited his need and took him from the street – only to use him for secret experiments, containing manipulation of genotypes by DNA of gods and other supernatural beings what traumatized him in a terrifying way and also changed his personality a lot. Finally they managed to incorporate an old Nordic demon aka the soul of a Valkyrie named Sváfa in Kilians body what gave him special abilities. But little did they know that their experiment is running out of control because Kilian is not strong enough to struggle so his dark side is slowly taking over.
Sváfa slightly takes over Kilians body with the aim to also take over his mind to gain her full power back. She seduces him to do bad things to other people and poisons his senses, manipulating him in every way she knows makes him weak.
She is visible for him in his dreams and in mirrors, never letting him go, whispering in his head. She brings out his darkest side – cruel, torturing for fun and even worse things, greedy… longing for more power, for more than he is.
Kilian still tries to fight her but he slowly loses all of his hope, realizing that he loses more and more of himself. His person of trust, Professor Liddell, is the only one who gives him backing, but the longer Sváfa is stucked in his head the more unwilling Kilian becomes to cooperate to stop her.
~ TALENTS / POWERS ~
Because his connection to Sváfa is on the initiation phase he was only able to use telekinesis at first in a very vicious way, but his abilities quickly grow stronger. He is also able to manipulate people and to sneak into their dreams (mostly by accident) and minds, sometimes when he focuses heavily he is even able to instantaneously teleport himself and others from one location to another and across great distances, that's how he sometimes gets out of the Institution unseen. One of his most powerful talents is to create projectiles of powerful telekinetic energy.
But because Kilian is afraid of these powers he prevents to use them but they are very seductive and addictive...
Furthermore he teached himself playing the piano like a pro.
~ FEARS~
Kilian is afraid of mirrors and of falling asleep because Sváfa is haunting him in his dreams and every morning he awakes he can barely remember if she drove him to do something horrible again or not.
