Jorry sighed to himself, staring boredly up at the dark ceiling of the dormitories. To think he'd actually belived himself that one day in this shit hole would pass without anyone of his siblings getting into some sort of trouble, or getting punshied for no real reason. What a naive and foolish thought that had been. Of course Fenrir (again) had to go and put himself at risk, with no thought of how his actions would affect neither him or Hel until it was to late... At least, this one wa son of the 'kinder' punishments Jean had given them. Jorry frowned at the thought of the redhead woman, holding back the urge to hiss and throw his bed our through the window or soemthing. Luckily, at leats he had somr control of his temper, unlike someone else in his family. Another sigh escaped his lips. Jorry was getting no sleep this night either apparently, and ocne again whised he ahd succeded in the magic training only Hel had seemed to inherit from their aprents. At leats that way, maybe he would've been able to put a sleeping spell on himself. Or something...
Kilian moved slowly through the darkness, advisedly not to attract attention from anywhere. But his eyes weren't very good in the dimly light and he wasn't willing to fall back on some of Sváfas non-blocked and even helpful abilities. Currently she was asleep or hatching something, but as long as he had his rest it didn't bother him. When he passed the half closed door of one of the dormitories he just wanted to take a quick look inside to make sure if someone was in there who could cause trouble, but he only saw one single guy laying on a uncomfortable looking bed. Now that the woman called Jean Grey had a heavy fight with Professor Liddell about his stay he was condamned to join the dormitories as well instead of withdrawing in his former prison cell and he was not pleased about it. He quickly slipped through the door and rushed to his assigned bed when suddenly a hall began to creak under his feet. He swallowed some curses and waited a few moments until he was sure the other one already recognised him to say: "Sorry for the late interference. I didn't meant to wake you if you were already asleep." He hoped the matter was ticked off by that and sat down on his bed.
Jorry had felt the other's presence before he even opened the door, but kept his back turned towards it, minding his own business as usual. Even if he might've hoped to get the room to himself tonight, it's not like he would be getting any sleep. As long as whoever this guy was didn't make too much sounds, then there wouldn't be much problem. He laid still on the bed, keeping his eyes clsoed as the other wlaked inside, probably headign towards his own bed. But then the othe rmale stopped fro whatever reason when the floor creaked beneeth him, makign Jorry opend his eyes and glance over at him. His expression was the same as ever, blank and void of any emotion whatsoever, and simply just agve Kilian an unbotherd look as he apologized. A polite one? Then he's new, he mentally told himself, laying back down without another word.
As the stranger didn't answer Kilian glanced a few seconds at him before his mind turned back to himself. He hated to be forced to share a room with other ones, especially because he didn't like people in general and being here in a dormitory made him feel being exposed. Not at last because he didn't want to fall asleep because of Sváfa. He had no cloue how she managed it, but when he fell asleep she sometimes made him wandering around, doing strange or terrifying things to other ones and he could only barely remember it when he awoke. In addition he wasn't keen to meet her in his dreams like she did often. But he was tired and sank down on his pillow, however too restless to sleep, always having circling thoughts of how he could manage to get away. He rolled over restlessly in his bed from the right side on the left, then back again, drumming his fingers barely audible on the bed frame and snorted dissatisfied from time to time. Then he could no longer stay in bed. He stood up and began wandering around.
Jorry mentally sighed when it seemed the other guy wasn't going to fall asleep. If anything, he appeard to be having the same problem that Jorry himself was currently having. But couldn't he at least leave the god damn room and make noise elsewhere in that case? Suddenly standing right behind Kilian, with his never changing apathetic look, he stared the other male down, stopping Kilian's movements as he placed his hand on his shoulder firmly. Wordlessly, he dragged the male back to his bed and pushed him down. "Hush," he said shortly, giving the male a last look before turning back towards his own bed.
Kilian gaped after the other male walking back to his own bed. What - did that just really happen? If he was drugged right now this action surely would have creeped him out, especially during the easing process when he got dropped down again. But he was sober and therefor more self-composed. He couldn't close his eyes right know, this he knew surely. He glanced around to the windows and slowly walked across the room to take a look outside. Maybe... "Do you know what will happen if those windows get smashed?", he muffled to the other guy who still wasn't asleep. The only reason why he adressed him was that he had this apathic look in his eyes. "Is there a alarm, some sort of electric shocks or similar shit?"
Well, so much for that, Jorry thought in slight irritation, even though there wasn't even a hint to it on his expression. Staring blankly towards the window for a minute before bothering to reply, he cast another quick glance at Kilian's back. "The last guy who did that, barely even made it past the gardens before they caught him. As punishment, he was used as a sex-toy to clinets and other worksers alike, for free. Anyone could littearlly do whatever the hell they wanted with him. After a couple of mounths with that, he then dissapeard, was never heard from again. The employers made it look like he never even excisted to begin with. Frankly, no one even remmbers what he looked like or his name." Jorrysat up on his bed, stretching his arms above his head and not looking like he agve a single crap about what he just spoken about. "The collars around our necks are alarms enough, newbie. So, don't do anything stupid."
Kilian grinded with his jaw and turned back to Jorry, looking at him in blue unbelief. "Are you kidding me? I never would have guessed you guys would do this to each other as well. The clients - okay. But you?" He shook his head and felt how the familiar melancholy came back which haunted him since years. He experienced a lot, but this place really was the limit. He leaned himself against the window frame and stared outside. In the glass he saw the reflection of the other male. At first Kilian thought it was some kind of soothing Jorry didn't show any emotion on his face, after he got confronted with Fenrir a few hours ago who always imparted a threatning feeling. But now he felt almost the same way. Somehow it was even more uncomfortable without any obvious hint what was going on inside of Jorrys head. "... so no window, huh? What a shame", he said and sank down to the floor, leaning against the wall. "But thanks for trying to preserve me from harm." He still wasn't over the fact Jorry stated even the workers pounced on each other.
Jorry's expression still didn't change, just kept his empty, cold green eyes locked on Kilian for another second before aimlessly looking around the dark room. "You either get killed here, or let yourself be brainwashed," he answered easily, as if talking about the weather. "Although alot of us 'workers' were bad enough before even ending up here. And after a lifetime of torture and imprisonment, one can be pushed into to do anything they never believed they were capable off." Not that Jorry ever remembers doing anything like that, unlike his brother, he was pretty much asexual. Which only made the work here the more unbearble for him sometimes.... He glanced back at Kilian, who ahd now sunken down to the floor instead. He was tempted to state that he didn't say any of this to be of help, but saw no real reason to frighten up the newbie more. He's surely already had it rough enough as it is, like everyone else here. And Jorry was in mood to deal with more hysterics. He didn't trust himself enough to not attack anyone right now. He was to tired, and yet still unable to sleep. "Sure," he mutterd, laying back down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling again. Where the hell was Fenrir right now anyway?
"Yeah, I lately met one of those", Kilian answered on Jorrys words about some workers who were already bad before they got locked up at the institution. His thoughts wandered back to Fenrir punching a hole into a wall what was perhaps the reason why he wasn't around him anymore. He was almost sure the red-haired witch was aware of who did this damage and was punishing him right now for it. He couldn't tell if this was the truth, but it could be. And Kilian himself - or even more Sváfa was to blame, too. He rested his forehead on his knees and tried not to think of it. "This place will break my back", he whispered before he looked up again, suddenly sensing a weird tension coming from the other guy. Something stired Sváfas inention, but she wasn't present right now - for heavens sake. But for some uncertain reason Kilian knew exactly what this stiring meant. He gave Jorry a cloudy look.
"And what about you? Already brainwashed or were you bad before you were taken here, too? You're not a human being."
The only more thought Jorry botherd to give the male, was that he certinaly didn't blong in this place. But give a couple of weeks, and he'll begint to fit right in along with the others. It's not like workers like them had any choice to begin with. He glanced away from Kilian when he commented about his back. It's usual for Fenrir to not come back to sleep, seeing as he enjoyed beign awake during the nights. But he hans't even been able to feel his presence since their last run in with Jean. He sighed. He coudln't even bother about the stupid wolf at this point, worrying over Hel was more than enough.
He side-glanced at Kilian for a quick second, mildy surprised at his little obersvation. However, no hint of it was present and he merely move dhis gaze ahead of him again. The male's question made Jorry want to laugh, but he didn't. He was stamped as something bad before he was born afterall. "And how'd you know?" he asked, still in that monotone way, and ignoring the other question. "Though I suppose, that other presence in you have something to do with it."
"Call it intuition." Kilian didn't want to inaugurate another person about Sváfa, it was bad enough she popped out and exposed their little secret in front of Fenrir. All because she was so greedy. He couldn't put in words how sick to death he was to face up with her. And the fact the guy ignored his question if he was already bad before getting here ensured him not to entrust him in his plight. With a throaty sigh he folded his arms and stared at the other one. There was something familiar in Jorrys face he couldn't tell. He focused more and when he realized the resemblance he felt a bit foolish. "You know, it's kind of strange, but... you're reminding me of somebody", Kilian said pensively, it was obvious neither of them would sleep in the next time - so why not kill time? Even in the dimly light he saw Jorrys face and the slight similarity to Fenrir, almost unnoticeable. "Do you know Fenrir?" He was a bit sheepish of Jorrys reaction because he estimated Fenrir was a well-known person who was not able to be ignored.
"Right," Jorry mumbled, chuckling softly udner his breathe. "'Intuition'." Whatever, it was of no buissness of his whatever this might be hiding or not. It's not like he cared right now anyways, he ha dhis own fair of toughts to dewll on. He cast a glance back at Kilian when eh felt the male's eyes on him, but didn't say anything. Just merely starign right back with the cold and unreadbale expression. What he said next only made jorry raise an eyebrow slightly, and paitnetly waited for the other to elaborate his observation a little. And when he did, Jorry felt his eye give a small twitch at the mention of the wolf. So, his brother had apparently already made acquaintances with this midgardian, and obviously lest his usual impression. A little surprising to see that Fenrir hasn't left a mark even a scratch on the guy though. "So you've met the oversized pup then," he sighed, rubbing his forehead. "The fact that you're not limping after that meeting is quite surprsing, my brother normaly loves to have the first 'taste' on the newbies."
"His brother? Well, then you must be the 'reptile'." Kilian contemplated Jorrys face and clicked evidently with his tongue. "Now I get the poker face thing..." On Jorrys last words regarding Fenrir he felt how a small shiver creeped down his body, getting reminded of their little meeting on the corridor. In fact it could have turned out worse. "So then I guess I have to be thankful he only almost punched a hole in my head", he determined humorless. Not to mention the pushing around and physical affliction he only grudgingly endured because he couldn't change it anyway. He wondered if Jorry was quiet similar to his brother in respect thereof. But the impression he got so far there wasn't any alluding hint. He seemed to be more aloofing and uninterested in others businesses and therefor rather minding his own. Somehow this soothed Kilian in a certain way.
Jorry gave Kilian an unamused look at the 'poker face' comment, not even needing to guess where that one had come from. Fenrir always made it well known how annoying his so called 'poker-face' was. No his fault mostly everything around him was to dull to bother over. And as if that wasn't enough, the stupid 'reptile' nickname had made itself know as well. Oh joy. He quircked an eyebrow at the male. "He punched the wall instead of you?" he repeated, a small hint of surprise and disbelief somewhere in his tone. Now that's a first, had Fenrir tried to hold back his anger? "I see..." he mumbled, ging back to his monotone and unbotherd expressions. "He must've taken a liking to you then," he deadpanned. "Or..." somethign glinted in his deep, green eyes. "He's just saving you for 'dessert'."
