"Whatever he had in mind, I'm not really mad for experiencing it", Kilian stated in discomfort and asked himself if Jorry and Fenrir liked to scare people for their pleasure by telling them things like that. Again he was very happy about being sober, in this way he could deal with his agitated feelings better. Jorrys reaction about Fenrirs nickname didn't slip Kilians attention. Maybe he could face better with him than the other one, he didn't seem that impulsive and violent. But silent waters are deep... however, I should stay watchfully. Kilian brang himself with all his will to chute a bit closer to Jorrys bed and asked as gentle and unsuspicious as he could: "So, I guess you don't want me calling you 'reptile', huh? If we have to share a dormitory at last maybe it would be of use to know how I can call you."
A dry snort was heard from the 'reptile'. "Don't think you'll be as lucky next time though, big chance you'll end up dissapointed if so." No, Jorry cared to little to be considerd a sadist (unlike his attention-whore of a brother) but sometimes even he could admit to be mildy amused by how easy it was to scare others, simple by stating the truth. But, just beacuse he was much calmer and more collecte dthna the wolf... didn't mena he was any less dangerous... Sensing Kilian move closer, Jorry at first didn't make any sigh of dislike, just kept his gaze locked ahead of himself like before with that apathetic look of his, only turning his green eyes to Kilian whn eh began to speak again. "......" At first, he didn't do anything else but jsut stare at the other male, looking like he was about to go back to ignoring him. "Here, I'm called 'Viper'," he sighed after a moment of silent staring, turning his back to the other as he laid back down on the matress. "Our real names holds no importance."
Viper... well, that doesn't really make a difference to 'reptile'. Kilian forced himself not to speak out his thoughts loudly. "Viper? Okay. I'm Cybrid, if you care." He looked at Viper one more moment before he stood up and went back on his way to his bed. His thoughts went back on Fenrirs adise to hold on to their names because maybe they would be the last things they would have. Seemed like his baby brother disagreed. He almost got the same opinion because his own name didn't mean anything to him anymore, but what he didn't like about this was the fact he hated his given nickname. But he doubted bridleing would help, so why not accepting and zip it... "You and your brother..." Kilian stopped and turned around again, glancing at Viper with a careful look. "... you're not meant to be here. It creeps me out someone managed to lock both of you up." He could read in Vipers eyes there was something dangerous within, desregarding his detached face and behaviour. It was scary someone was able to catch guys like them - but more delicate was that they didn't care if they put them with him and the other workers here inside. What a nightmare.
Jorry merely hummed when Kilian answerd with his given name, not giving any other form of hint that eh cared. He'll remember the guy either way, and sooner or later both of them would learn the others real anme wether they asked or not. He glanced up again as Kilian began mention him and Fenrir once more, glancing over his shoulder to show the male that he was indeed litsening this time. What he said made something within Jorry want to snapp, being yet again reminded that no, neither he or his siblings were to suppose to be here. So, Kilian was the observant type then? Not as naive as he looks. Then again, Jorry shouldn't be one to judge by apperances only. He if anyone should know that. He looked away again, keeping his gaze locked ont he wall opposite of them. "Everyone has their weakness, even monster's like us," he answerd simply. His thoughts travlled back to Hel, and felt a mix of pain and sadness crawl through him. Their precious baby sister did least deserve to be called a 'monster'... and yet she was the most dangerous out of the three of them. "Just don't annoy me and I won't bother with you," he shrugged.
"Trust me, this is maybe the last thing I would do on purpose", Kilian replied placating and went on to his bed. When he layed down he heared Vipers words drawing circles through his mind. Monsters like us... When Kilian talked about himself it came easy to him claiming himself as a monster, but hearing others speaking like that was strange. Sure, Viper and his siblings were way different than the other workers he met, supernatural beings and not from this world. But were they came from maybe it was normal being like... well, the way they were. Some aspects of their behaviour surely weren't part of this world, but everything else? "When did you reach the point refering yourself and your siblings as 'monsters'?", Kilian asked half loud, not meaning to offend anyone, he became curious why a supernatural would call himself like that. "Did you start it or somebody else?" He clutched his blanket and listened into the darkness. He hoped Viper wouldn't be pissed because of his nosiness. Kilian closed his eyes for a second. "Describing oneself as a monster is way easier than being called like that by someone else."
Once again, Kilian had managed to surprsie him with his question. 'When did you reach the point refering yourself and your siblings as 'monsters'?' Jorry's stared silently at the wall, unmoving and quiet. In the dark like this, one would think he wasn't even breathing. The serpent found himself for the first time in years thinking back on their life before, for the life of him trying to remember if there ever was a time where he and his siblings hadn't been feared. No.... no such time excisted. They had been hated even way before being brought into their world. They were offsprings of 'Chaos', predicted to help bring the end of the world... or whatever. They were ment to be locked up. "We've always been 'monsters'," he replied simply, no emotion whatsoever in his voice. No hint of sorrow or hate, no shame or pain. Nothing. "We've never been ashamed of our nature, its those around us who doens't approve of what we are." He moved, standing up from the uncomfortable bed and walked over to where Kilian was, and leaned down until they were at eyelevel with eachother. "We were feared and locked away in our own 'world', and in this one we're treated in pretty much the same way," he spoke in a low, devious voice, the green eyes of his glowing venomously in the dark. "All we bascially know is haterd. The term 'monsters' holds no meaning to us, like it does to you. It's a statment, a fact." It's just the way things are Jorry titled his head slightly, for a moment looking a bit curious as he leaned his closer towards Kilian's. "Now would you be so kind to tell me..." he spoke slowly, firmly, as their noses brushed. "...what kind of 'monster' is living inside of you?"
Kilian almost held his breath while Viper narrated in the dark. Hearing what they went through even in their own world was surprisingly something he couldn't let bounce off the emotional barricade he once built. He didn't want to feel pity for them because they wouldn't in his place, but it was already to late. That's it... only one day out of the prison cell after months and my damn emotions are back! What a joke in a place like this. The institution maybe was the location he would have needed his drugged deadness the most. When he felt Viper appeared next to him he freezed and sank deeper into his pillow as he came closer. Listening fraught to his words he forced himself not to push the guy away and to leave the dormitory - he really began to regret leaving his personal prison. It was hard enough to stand Vipers closeness, but what he told him made it worse. According to him he was okay with being called a monster. No, with being one. Was someone with that kind of attitude a good company? Kilian doubted it. And when Viper asked him about his own 'monster issue', he just wanted to vanish right through the wall.
"I would prefer holding this to myself", he said halting, backtracking as much as possible. "Because I dread maybe you'll get the urge to punch a hole right through my head, too like your brother, so..."
He didn't wait for another second, he just slipped right beneath Viper, almost jumping out of his bed and heading backwards again to the window to bring a bit of distance between them. His flight instinct was still very distinctive after all, especially after experiencing Fenrirs reaction. Telling Viper, his brother.. he would sod-all.
Jorry didn't do anything to stop Kilian from slinking away from him, and just there for a moment and watched the other male head back over towards the window. So, whatever it was that Kilian was sharing his body with, had made the wolf snapp and almost smached the guy's head into the wall. And yet the wolf had hed himself back and directed the punch straight for the wall instead... Jorry had a couple of things to guess on now. In short, it was something conected with Asgard. But for now, Jorry decided to drop the subject, figuring Kilian has already ahd enough to deal with for now day. Besides, whatever kind of being hiding inside of him, from asgard or not... what did it really matter. He understood his brother senestive feelings about it, but he just couldn't be like that. Fenrir felt enough hate and anger for the three of them already. "I'm not my brother," he pointed out a little dryly, muttering something in old norse to himself under his breathe. But instead of getting up to return to his own bed, he laid down on Kilian's bed. "Hey, yours is more comfortable than mine."
Kilian listened to Vipers statement of not being Fenrir with narrowed eyes. “Could be. But you’re still his brother.” He didn’t add that he had a very low trust in Fenrir so far, it was unnecessary and obvious. He expected his roommate to return to his own bed with giving him this I-don’t-give-a-fuck-gaze he already knew from his brother, but the so called ‘reptile’ didn’t show the slightest inclination to get up and instead just settled down on his own mattress and commented about it. Kilian was kind of surprised and insecure about what was his point, but hid it as well as he could beyond a clinical face. Was that only an ascertainment Viper just experienced or like back in high school when the popular kid just took what he wanted from the weaker one, like a hint to state he occupied it by now to show Kilian his place in hierarchy? “You can take it”, Kilian gave back sullenly. “I will not sleep anyway in the near future.” Not here. Not in this place and not in this room. After all he was used not to sleep a lot, having dark shades under his blue eyes which could proof it. He learned to keep himself awake. Coming a bit closer Kilian shortly dropped his gaze on Vipers face. “It would be more of use for you than for me I guess”, he added, noticing the guy looked more tired than he actually felt, even if it was hard to figure out on his blandly expression.
Jorry's brow twitched slightly when Kilian shot back about him and Fenrir still being related. As if that would decide how he'd act and such. Still, he didn't comment on that, and laid still on the other and much more comfortable bed. Not like he'd get any sleep anyway, but it felt much better for his back to lay on. He had just closed his eyes when Kilian decided to speak up again, and what he said made Viper open one eye to stare blankly up at the guy. "Again, I'm not my brother," he found himself repeating after a moment of silence, pushing himself up into sitting position instead. "Unlike him, I'm no bully. Unless somone gives me reason to be," he mutterd, running a hand down his face tireadly. Suddenly, his arm had reahced out quickly and firmly grabbed hold of Kilian. The next second, the male found himself back on his bed with Jorry leaning in above him, keeping him trapped from getting up. "If you either want something or aren't ok with the rest, make sure the rest knows it. In here, if you let everyone else do as they please without as much as protest from you, you'll eventually end up like that guy nobody even remebers now." Jorry leaned in closer, his lips lightly touching Kilian's cheek and ear. "A toy." With that, he pulled back and wordlessly stood up from the bed to move back towards his own.
Vipers grab took Kilian just by surprise and he ungainly lurched on his bed immediately. With a mixture of indignation and way more unawareness of what the hell just happened and what he could do about it he stared at Viper who managed to make a second elopement impossible. Normally what he said next would have pushed Kilian back into his well-known stadium of disillusionment and heavy worries – but surprisingly this wasn’t the case this time. Instead it was like the guy pointed out something he already knew what made him kind of irksome. The only thing what really made him feel awkward was when Viper was that close he could feel his warm breath on his skin, muffled speaking in his ear as his lips liminal swiped him. Inclining his head Kilian even sensed Vipers fragrance, the supernatural part of him connected with Sváfas longing for precious cosmical presences even conceived it in a quiet heady way.
Irritated by that and Viper himself Kilian closed his eyes and waited, but then the other guy was gone as fast as he grabbed him. He instantly got up and followed him with his eyes how he reached his own bed, still his broad hint in mind. He had to admit he didn’t get the impression Viper was someone pushing people around like Fenrir would probably do so far, but he still scrutinized his motives and nature. “I may be a scaredy cat”, Kilian said suddenly with steady voice and a strange dark undertone he only got when Sváfa made him to show his vicious side, but this time he used it voluntarily. “… and I may seem naive, but don’t underestimate me.”
"Your own fault if I do," Jorry easily shot back, his back still turned towards the other male as he reached his own bed and allowed his body to fall down on it and hit the already messed up sheets. "You just told it me was ok for me to take your bed, literally just giving it to me," he went on, turning do he was laying on his back once more, and blankly staring back up at the ceiling with hands behind his head as a head pillow. "Everyone in here are scared, some are just better at hiding it. And I doubt you're naive.." he traild off, his green eyes glancing back over at Kilian from his spot. And then a small amused smirk wa sshown on his usally blank and void expression. "...but a 'scaredy cat' as you put it? Yeah you definitely are," he snickerd, closing his eyes and went back to try and relax. Even if Jorry ahd botherd poiting it out, the sudden dark undertone in Kilian's voice hadn't went unnoticed by the serpent. No, no matter who or how sared thay may be, Jorry dosen't underestimate someone if they showed they had brains. And Kilian here, for more reasons that one, was not one to be underastimated.
At first Kilian said nothing. Vipers snickering surprised him, it was maybe 1 of 3 hints this guy really held any emotions behind his mask, not to mention his smirk – it didn’t matter how small it was. Seeing this strange difference Kilian asked himself if Viper just was the bland type by nature or if there wasn’t a lot to smile about in his life in general. Foolish question… just take a look around and remember where you are - and what he just told you! Of course there wasn’t anything amusing. His mental nonsense proofed he was too tired to think seriously about anything anymore. Slapping himself mentally Kilian fell face down on his pillow and sighed. Maybe he was lucky and would choke while falling asleep. “Believe it or not, I am only trying to avoid unnecessary trouble like having a stupid fight over a bed what wouldn’t be worth it. So surrendering it to you would have been the most logical thing”, he responded tiredly, his voice muffled by the pillow. In addition there were a lot of other beds around, he would have picked another one. And if Viper really believed his bed was better than his own, then why refusing? He didn’t even have a comparing to other beds so he could have complained. Kilian sluggishly turned his head until he could see right over to the other male lying on his bed and staring at the ceiling. He still wondered Viper thought he wasn’t naïve. He didn’t reckon this, more the opposite like usual. And he didn’t reckon he would appreciate it.
Another chuckle was hard from the usaly quiet male. Like he had just thought, Kilian was far from dumd. But still, being smart to only avoid fights could only keep you out of harms way for so long. In here, one needed to stand their ground and fight back too. Back away from every fight that may occur, and everyone knows you're an easy target. In his and his siblings case, bakc when they were still new to this hell hole, many ahd made the mistkae of underastimating them. None of those sudden death's among the workers had been an accident (Fenrir being the proud one responsible for most of them), and shortly enough everyone knew who to not mess with. Now too bad they couldn't sacre off the 'employers' like that... "So, if I were to suddenly decide on stripping you down naked, you'd let me simply to avoid a fight?" Jorry asked flatly, as if talking about the weather. Was he taunting the other male? Yes, partly. Feelings his finally starting to dropp, he stilfed a yawn and turned to his side in yet another attempt of getting himself comfortable, only to tense up for a bit as a loud rumble suddenly echoed from outside. He narrowed his eyes, and pressed his face agaisnt the pillow. Just fucking great.... thunder. He was getting no sleep at all this night either.....
Kilian wasn’t sure if Viper chuckled because he mocked him or because of his own thoughts which just came up to their subject. One moment later he thought to know why Viper snickered that taunting. The question made Kilian avert his eyes as fast as lightning. Staring evasively and obviously in another direction he was happy Viper couldn’t see how his face began to blush in embarrassed indignation. “No, of course not! That’s something whole different”, he stuttered low, snidely snorting. What a none-sense. It was obvious the guy was skitting him, but Kilian swallowed his curses like it was his unbreakable habit for years and just scowled at him for another time in displeasing silence. He folded his arms and sank into a mixture of pouting and huff when suddenly a thunderclap resounded. He looked to the window where rain drops began to trickle against the glass, attended by a garish thunderbolt. He got up very slowly and studied how the wind began to blow the rain towards the window. It has been a long time since his last tempest and he was surprised how soothing it felt, although things went pretty rough outside just in this instant. As another lightning illuminated the room with a loudly echo of thunder he noticed Viper wasn’t very pleased about the sudden change of weather. With the repressed ghost of a smile he bowed his head and asked faltering: “You don’t like severe weathers?” He continued without any glee or waiting for an answer. “Well, then I fear it will be a long night. Doesn’t seem like it will vanish the next hours.”
