Jean smirked down at the people she had chosen to play this game. She probably would have to find more people to bring to the Institution but for now this was enough. At least until she got bored, she twirled the remote in her hand as she waited for them to wake up. Perhaps she could give them a little shock to awaken them? Jean's smile darkened and then she pressed the button on the remote that caused all of the chairs to shock their occupants violently. "Wakey, wakey." She cooed not even caring how much they must have hated the wake up call.
A stabbing pain yanked Kilian out of his unconsciousness. With a repressed groan his head startled and bumped against a backrest at full tilt, unable to breath for a couple of seconds until his sight cleared up and he got used to the dimly light. The room around him still seemed to shake and he didn’t understand why he didn’t lose his balance. But then he noticed he was tied to a chair. This was maybe one of the last things he would have expected. Heavily breathing he rattled his bonds, but whoever tied him down did a very good job. Totally focused on his useless action he didn’t notice Jean at first, but when he looked up he stopped trying to get rid of his bonds, just staring at the red-haired woman in a sudden paralyzed tension. He never met her face to face, but now it was unavoidable – and when he took a look around, realizing to be taken into a basement he was sure this was supposed to be not good - not to mention to be tied on a chair. Unable to hesitate another moment in silence he felt how a hint of panic slowly rised up in him and he panted out with a hoarse voice: “…w-what the hell is this here? What… are you kidding me?” Again he rattled his bonds, having his eyes locked on Jean.
In one moment, Alex distinctly recalled of being out somewhere by the beach, enjoying the old breeze and litseing to the soothing sounds of waves crashing into the shore. And then the next, she was shocked awake in a rather painful way, letting out a loud gasp as pain errutped throughout her body. Adnas if that wasn't the worst wake-up call ever, being tied up to a chair made the whole thing just resmeble one of ehr many nightimes. And the worst part, she doubted that she was asleep this time. Glacning arond the room with wide, terrifed and confused eyes, trying to catch her breathe and calm down her crazy beating heart, her brown eyes frst settled on the onlu friendly face she's encounterd so far. "K-Killian..?" she stammerd out, the small string of relief she felt immdeintly gettign swalloed up by dread as she saw him th same condisiton she was. She swallowed, turing her gaze towars the redheaded woman slowly. "Um... I suppose you're one of those 'employers' I've heard so much about...."
